Last night we announced the 2019-2020 PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh season to packed house at the Benedum Center. The season features seven spectacular shows and four season specials; five new shows direct from Broadway, two incredible revivals, three blockbuster classics and one that you will have to see to believe. Combined, the 11 shows boast over 30 Tony Award nominations. Whether you’re an Andrew Lloyd Webber aficionado or a Broadway beginner, this season is sure to have you on your feet for a standing ovation.

Mean Girls | October 29-November 3 | Benedum Center

This quotable classic film is now a sensational new musical. As book writer, Tina Fey transformed her original screenplay for the Broadway stage, but the humor, emotional resonance and uplifting message remain untouched. Mean Girls will be so fetch when it hits the Benedum October 29-November 3. Make sure to book your tickets if you don’t want your name in the burn book.

A Bronx Tale | November 19-24 | Benedum Center

This streetwise coming of age tale tells the story of a young man caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he’d love to be. Featuring high-energy dance numbers and doo-wop tunes by Alan Menken (who composed the scores for The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, and Newsies, to name a few), A Bronx Tale stands apart because of its heart. It’s destined to be “one of the great ones.”
