Artist Statement
Analog Holiday is the full collection of work I’ve created over the past 3 years. During this period I was greatly inspired by the technology and design approach of the midcentury industrial boom. It was an optimistic time when form wildly came before function and beautiful contemporary design was integrated into even basic household items. This work is intentionally nonpolitical and my attempt to bring audiences into a space of pleasure and escape. That said, the raw and painful aspects of today's reality inevitably dripped between the layers of color and gloss.
