Guest curated by Kristen Letts Kovak, this exhibition showcases the work of eight regional and national artists who collectively explore visual, biological, cognitive, and physical patterning. While patterns adorn our homes, our belongings, and us, they are more than ornamentation. Patterns appeal to our fundamental desire for predictability. Pattern is not the antithesis of plainness, but rather an ordered response to the unknown.
