The Pittsburgh Biennial—the largest regional exhibition of contemporary art—is presented by Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Started in 1994, this year’s collaborative arts event begins in July 2014 and ends in May 2015, with each of the eight partner venues exhibiting at different times within the ten-month period. The venues include The Andy Warhol Museum, Carnegie Museum of Art, Mattress Factory, The Miller Gallery at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Pittsburgh Glass Center, Pittsburgh Filmmakers, and SPACE gallery. Public Record—an exhibition featuring seven Pittsburgh artists—is on view at SPACE as part of the Pittsburgh Biennial.
