For Early Childhood Educators: Discover different artful ways to introduce and explain the concept of family to young children through this workshop. Taken from the the title of Cynthia Rylant's classic children's book about extended family, during this workshop educators will work through projects and strategies designed to help teachers explain family relationships to young children (What is an uncle? Why do I have grandparents? Who are my cousins? etc.)

Participants will experiment with visual art, puppetry, and storytelling experiences that may help children understand how to relate to unfamiliar family members and those who are aging.
