Lilly Abreu is a multifaceted artist and one of Brazil's most celebrated cultural assets, with a rich and diverse career that has taken her to stages across the globe. She is a renowned popular music artist, celebrated for her eclectic repertoire of Brazilian classics, Broadway hits, and timeless jazz standards. Her impressive discography includes albums such as BRASILEIRA, No More Blues with the Diamante Trio, and BOSSA, a collection of Brazilian popular songs recorded alongside the Grammy winning string quartet Cuarteto Latinoamericano.
A passionate and sought-after educator, Ms. Abreu was recently recognized at the Andy Awards for her 20 years as a Voice teacher at Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, she has served as a dedicated faculty member at The Woodlands' Notes from the Heart, a music camp for children and adults with disabilities and chronic illness, since 1999.
Ms. Abreu's academic background includes a Bachelor of Music from the Federal University of Goiás in Brazil, a Master’s in Voice Performance from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA Essentials from the University of Pittsburgh.
